Wedding dresses can combine delicate fabrics, structured layers, lace, beading, embroidery, trains and old stains. Each gown is assessed individually before work begins.
1. Inspection
We review fabric, embellishments, construction, stains and areas needing special attention.
2. Stain treatment
Visible stains are assessed and treated according to the fabric, stain history and risk involved.
3. Cleaning & finishing
The gown is cleaned using an appropriate process and carefully finished.
4. Preservation options
Ask us about storage and preservation options after cleaning.
How long does wedding gown cleaning take?
A gown may take roughly 1–2 weeks of hands-on processing, but because we have an existing queue, customers should generally expect about 2–3 months to receive a gown back. Rush orders may be accepted for an additional charge for customers with an upcoming wedding or deadline.
Stains and expectations
Complete stain removal cannot be guaranteed. Results depend on the type of stain, fabric, how long the stain has been present and whether products have already been used on it at home. The best chance is generally when a stain is brought in quickly and nothing has been applied to it beforehand.
